These terms explain the rules for using TrailRunningCompare (trailrunningcompare.com). By using the site you accept them; if you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1.Using the site

You can use TrailRunningCompare to compare gear, read reviews, browse races and follow training plans for your own personal use. Use it lawfully, and don’t try to disrupt it, copy it in bulk with automated tools or interfere with other people’s use of it.

2.Your account

Some features, such as saving races, reading full training plans or writing reviews, need an account. You sign in with a provider such as Google, you’re responsible for what happens with your account, and you can stop using it at any time.

3.What you publish

Reviews, ratings and questions you publish must be honest and your own, and must not be offensive, misleading or promotional. You keep ownership of them and allow us to show them on the site. We may edit or remove content that breaks these rules.

4.Prices and affiliate links

Prices, availability and offers come from the shops and can change at any time: check them on the shop before you buy. Some links are affiliate links, so we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. It doesn’t change our comparisons.

5.Races, training plans and AI answers

We gather race dates, distances and registration details with care, but organisers change them: always confirm them on the race’s official site. Training plans are general guidance, not medical advice: adapt them to your health and level, and see a professional if in doubt. AI answers are generated automatically and may contain mistakes.

6.Intellectual property

The content, design and brand of TrailRunningCompare belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute them without our written permission. Product names and logos belong to their owners.

7.No warranties

The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t guarantee that it will be error-free, secure or uninterrupted.

8.Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TrailRunningCompare is not liable for damages arising from your use of the site, from decisions made with its information, or from the third-party sites and shops it links to.

9.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves. We’ll change the date at the top, and using the site after that means you accept the new version.
